Personal Experience With Parkinson’s & Spinal Cord Injury
Having experienced Parkinson’s firsthand through several of his own family members, Dr. Jochims was inspired to attend numerous medical conferences and continuing education programs – all aimed at helping family members and others who are coping with the effects of Parkinson’s.In addition, Dr. Jochims personally suffered a significant spinal cord injury as a younger man that left him temporarily paralyzed. His experience further motivated him to become a neurologist and dedicate his life to helping others live better.

What to Expect When Visiting Neurological Wellness Clinic

At your first appointment with Neurological Wellness Clinic, you will have the opportunity to share your medical history and undergo a thorough neurological evaluation with Dr. Jochims. Dr. Jochims will then provide a diagnosis or potential diagnosis pending further testing.

Together, you and Dr. Jochims will discuss your options and create a plan of action, involving your referring physician as necessary. Your next steps may include additional testing or lab work, treatments, medication or referral to other specialists.

Neurological Wellness Clinic is one of the few independent clinics in Wisconsin to invest in voice recognition software and an EMR system. As a result, all of your medical records are quickly and accurately shared with your referring physician or other specialists on your care team.
